Information We Collect
ZenPal may collect limited information to improve the app experience and understand how users interact with the application.

• Anonymous onboarding responses and preferences

• Anonymous identifiers generated by Firebase Authentication

ZenPal does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, financial account information, or precise location data.

Anonymous Authentication
ZenPal uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a unique anonymous account for each installation of the app. This allows app preferences and analytics data to be associated with a unique user without requiring account registration.

Anonymous identifiers cannot be used by ZenPal to directly identify you as an individual.

Analytics
ZenPal may use analytics services, including Google Firebase Analytics, to better understand app usage and improve the user experience.

Analytics information may include:
• Screens viewed
• Features used
• Onboarding completion rates
• Device type
• App version
• General usage trends

Analytics data is aggregated and used solely for improving the app.

Data Storage
Certain information may be stored both locally on your device and securely within cloud services operated by Firebase, a platform provided by Google.

This information may include onboarding responses, anonymous user identifiers, and application analytics.

Widgets and App Groups
ZenPal uses Apple's App Groups technology to allow the main app and widgets to share information locally on your device.

Data shared through App Groups remains within Apple's secure application sandbox.

Third-Party Services
ZenPal may use trusted third-party services, including:
• Firebase Authentication
• Firebase Analytics
• Cloud Firestore
• Firebase Crashlytics (if enabled)

These services may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Children's Privacy
ZenPal is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that information has been collected from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.

Your Choices
You may stop using ZenPal at any time. Deleting the application will remove locally stored data from your device. Certain anonymous analytics records previously transmitted to our servers may remain in aggregated form.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the application and through updated publication dates. Continued use of ZenPal following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
